Burger joint’s name, logo irks LGBT group

“LSA senior Kolby Roberts, a member of the Stonewall Democrats who has led the effort, said he finds the logo’s message inappropriate and offensive.

“I have a problem that you take a women riding a hamburger and you put it next to the word ‘quickie,’ ” he said. “It just seems like it’s not putting a good message out there for the objectification of women.”

Here we have the essence of what sets us apart from other countries. The LGBT group in Michigan has found that this is demeaning to women. Whats next? The Beef council speaking up against the view of burger meat being somethign you want to eat quickly and not savor? We need to draw a line in the sand. If we don’t then this kind of thinking will permeate every sector of our lives. Shit like this has been going on for ages here and its getting to the point of ridiculous. I don’t care how many people sign the petition, I hope every LGBT person in Michigan signs it.

And I hope that the restaurant tells them to fuck off.

If you think things like this doesn’t have anything to do with the adult industry, then you’re wrong. These are the same 15 minute famers that got Imus fired, and want porn sites to be off of the internet and illegal.
