A show like no other, QWEBEC…

When it comes to choosing which Adult Webmaster Expo to attend, we all have different objectives. Most adult webmasters want to interact with other webmasters and share ideas. Travel is also of concern but with airfares quite reasonable, air travel is rarely a factor.

I want to discuss a very successful show called QWEBEC. Michael Plant, the developer of QWEBEC, comes to virtually every show around the world, and everyone seasoned in the adult internet industry knows and respects him. Qwebec is held in Montreal in the downtown Marriott Hotel. It is the perfect setting for the show. Booths are set up and everything happens in the booth area. The show includes lunch every day and the camaraderie between exhibitors, professionals in our industry, and the adult webmasters in attendance, is something that cannot possibly be described in writing. This show draws about 375 attendees who get to know one another and who share knowledge together. There are seminars, casual and organized discussions, business meetings, and don’t be surprised if Charles from NATS has 20 pizza pies delivered, just for the heck of it.

Michael’s girlfriend is a true delight. She is there to welcome everyone and she makes sure their evening hospitality suite runs as smooth as possible. Three years ago, everyone was surprised when the suite was filled and everyone was engaged in chatter; the doors opened to an adjoining room and we were handed chopsticks. When you entered the room, a totally naked woman with a spectacular body was on a table next to the sushi chef. Her body was covered with sushi and you got to pick what you wanted… What a great sushi display.
